In the fast-paced world of fintech and technology, attending industry events is like embarking on a thrilling adventure. It’s a chance to learn, connect, and share insights with like-minded individuals.
Recently our team had the privilege of participating in two extraordinary events: the Global Fintech Fest 2023 (GFF23) and the Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) event. We had a chance to showcase VICCAS a product by Vayana at those fantastic gatherings.

This fest is all about exploring key issues and devising business models that contribute to building an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable world.
VICCAS in Vayana stall made a remarkable presence at Global Fintech Fest 23, where our major offering revolved around Cash, Commerce, Compliance, and Credit.
The experience was nothing short of wonderful, as we had the opportunity to interact and converse with like-minded individuals who share our passion for fintech innovation.
Our booth, located at Aisle O, Booth 14 in the Jio World Convention Centre, was a bustling hub of activity. Attendees eagerly gathered around to engage in insightful conversations about the dynamic world of payments, fintech, and more.
It was indeed an honour to be part of an event that not only celebrated innovation but also highlighted the potential of these groundbreaking technologies to transform entire industries.
GFF’23: Innovation Thrives
At GFF23, some of our team members who attended Global Fintech Fest were Shreya Chakraborty, Madhumita Chakraborty, Sharon Batliwalla, Anurag Rastogi, Jitin Nanda, Piyush, Prajakta.
Global Fintech Fest 23 was a vibrant gathering, attended by industry leaders like Amazon, Cred etc. startups, and regulatory bodies like RBI. Booths were beautifully designed, and various engaging activities, including games, added an element of fun to the event.
What We Learned at GFF23
During our time at the event, we had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic individuals, such as Annia from Double Horse, Lathika from Chandrika Soap, and Naina Lazar from Verandah Store., Priya Chandran from Money Platter. We also connected with Hira from the Navya Bakers etc.
These conversations highlighted the importance of collaboration and adaptability in fintech. Some companies we engaged with were like Rawmart Credflow, EY, Credable, Decentro, Payton Etc.
We answered questions about credit management, automated collections and payouts, and the integration of e-invoice and e-way bill systems. These discussions enriched our understanding of the fintech landscape and opened doors for potential collaborations.
The doodle wall
Vayana specializes in trade credit, which means they help businesses manage and finance the credit they extend to their customers when they make purchases.
One of the coolest things at our booth was the doodle wall. We engaged our visitors in a discussion and asked- ” what drives trade-credit”? and they shared their answers.
Our talented doodler then turned those answers into beautiful drawings on the wall. It was amazing to see the wall fill up with these wonderful answers and doodles.
Women Entrepreneurs Network – Empowering Women in Business
Women Entrepreneurs Network, commonly known as WEN, is a platform dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs through networking, collaboration, training, and mentoring.
Headquartered in Kochi, WEN has expanded its reach to five chapters across Kerala, boasting a membership of over 500 women entrepreneurs and counting.
Our Experience at WEN
We had the pleasure of participating in a WEN Thrissur event that celebrated Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala. VICCAS at Vayana proudly served as the platinum sponsor for this event, which marked the second anniversary of WEN Thrissur.
The event brought together women entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, including family-run enterprises, manufacturers, solo entrepreneurs, new startups, established companies, and more.
Women Entrepreneurs Network – Celebrating Empowered Women Entrepreneurs
At the Women Entrepreneurs Network, our team was well represented by Ashi and Nikitha. Ashi took the stage to present VICCAS’s 4C offerings, and it was heartening to see her presentation being highly appreciated.
During the presentation, Ashi, our representative, posed a vital question: “What is the most important thing for your business?” The significance of cash flow was a key point made by many of these remarkable women.
One manufacturing company expressed a desire to embrace new tools to stay aligned with the evolving business and increase its operational efficiency.
Ashi also introduced the persona of Kamala, a business owner facing related to cash flow challenges, compliance, and credit in her business. This relatable character allowed us to connect with the audience on a deeper level.
What We Learned at WEN
During our time at the event, we had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic individuals, such as Annia from Double Horse, Lathika and Priya Chandran from Chandrika Soap, and Naina Lazar from The Money Platter. We also connected with Hira from the Verandah Store and Navya Bakers etc.
These interactions were invaluable and allowed us to gain deeper insights into the unique challenges and aspirations of women entrepreneurs in Thrissur. We are excited about the potential collaborations and support that may stem from these connections.
The feedback we received from the attendees at the WEN event was overwhelmingly positive. They expressed gratitude for our support and showed keen interest in how VICCAS could assist them in their entrepreneurial journeys.
WEN reminded us of the importance of empowering women in business and the incredible potential they hold.
The WEN community left a lasting impression on us. They were not only energetic and smart but also a close-knit group of entrepreneurs.
Additionally, the traditional Onam feast served at the event was a culinary delight, leaving everyone satisfied and content.
